About the Food Industry Report

The Food Industry Report is published monthly and provides expert analysis and statistics about new developments in the food and beverage industry. It specializes in reporting the changes taking place in the industry and provides marketing information and technical data about those changes. The Food Industry Report is edited and published by Robert J. Bannar, who began his career in 1976 as an associate editor with Food Engineering magazine, under its editor, James Russo, who later founded the Food Industry Report. While at Food Engineering, Bannar won four awards for outstanding journalism. Since then, he has contributed editorially to several food industry magazines and has served as a writing/communications consultant for many suppliers to the industry. He has covered new product developments, new technology, packaging, new and pending regulations and other issues important to the food industry executive.
